DID YOU KNOW THAT IBAMA DATA IS PUBLIC?

Every project carried out in Brazil, through a license from Ibama, delivers all the data collected to the agency. This way, these data can be used not only for inspection, but also for research. And it is through research that we can continue to develop our legislation.

Biosonar currently seeks to develop a partnership and intermediation relationship between the fronts involved in mitigating seismic exploration activity in Brazil:

We did a search on the SIMMAM (Support System for Monitoring Marine Mammals) platform for concomitant records of Cetaceans, that is, acoustic detections that occurred at the same time as the sightings, we requested this data from Ibama, which promptly gave it to us and now we will move on to the characterization phase of these species.
